The Venue
Our 10,709+ square foot ballroom can be divided into three smaller spaces, and we also have an atrium and an outdoor terrace that are perfect for receptions and parties. We can do as many as 1,100 chairs and have 500+ free parking spaces.

Additional Spaces and Features
Meeting/Boardroom
In addition to the ballroom and Atrium/Lobby, the conference center features a boardroom and a classroom-sized meeting space, which are available to clients. These rooms are subject to availability.

Kitchen Rental
We offer full kitchen rental and catering kitchen rentals in conjunction with the ballroom. Our kitchen spaces are available for rental Monday – Thursday after 4pm and Friday – Sunday all day with an approved caterer.

Technology/Audio Visual
We provide basic access to equipment. We do not provide additional on-site Audio Visual or Technology staffing. We strongly encourage those who need contracted A/V and Technology support to do so separately. We are not responsible for equipment incompatibility, malfunction or misuse.

Dance Floor
A dance floor is required if your event includes dancing inside the Ballroom. For an additional fee of $500, you may rent our dance floor.

The McGavick Conference Center is located on the campus at Clover Park Technical College in Lakewood, WA. On campus, the conference center can be found in Building 23 at the center of campus. Parking is available on the front (north) or back (south) of the conference center.

If the event is during regular school days and hours, parking in front (north side) of the conference center may be limited. There is ample parking on the back (south side) of the McGavick Conference Center. To get to the back (south side) of the conference center, it’s essentially the same driving directions from Interstate-5 with the following differences once you turn onto Steilacoom Blvd SW:
